@ Of course! I just learned this myself and googled it to double check! DC did call it a “soccer kick,” but I think he just meant it as like, “That kick was so hard, it looked like he was punting a football!”
@@oneaccordsa484 Chandler panic wrestled a washed tony. Even prime for prime Chandler on paper is suppose to have the advantage in striking lol. Dude was losing
This is standard for MMA. If tony knocked out chandler he wouldve done the same. Just part of the game. There's no disrespect in it, and the fighters and fans know that.
Chandler overpowered Tony through the right training, the right eating and the right supplements. Old Tony on the other hand still kicked his ass in style at standup fighting. He countered a very explosive and aggressive Chandler in the first round. That right there was beautiful display of wooden dummy training coped with JKD intercepting beautifully every incoming hit. Chandler‘s takedown shows how much more power and weight Chandler had than Tony who relied on his elbow strikes and lying on his back as usual with bjj fighters. They‘re like a toad and feel comfortable in these positions. Groundgame was beautiful from Tony evaded every hit in a way that suits a blackbelt. But he should really stop fighting now and give the stage to the next generation. Chandler‘s takedown could arguably be one of the most beautiful takedowns in UFC history. Hope they respect each pther it was a good matchup and display of skills!
it happened to paddy , it hadnt happen to tony before , not the end of the world ,thats life , we all have to loose at life once , the bigger you are , the harder you fall , nevermind - nirvana hahahaXD
@ no it wasn’t Chandlers leg is literally is the position of a leg kick and then he threw a weak jab and he slipped so you can shut up and what happened after
@@sethjones2712 He planted his feet after Tony threw his first punch in that combo. Regardless if chandler was trying a kick it was still a knockdown. After all this guy has more losses than wins in the ufc
The form on Chandler's backflips is just perfection
That was a crazy soccer kick 😮
Not to be that guy, but that was a front kick. A soccer kick is when a standing fighter kicks a grounded opponent.
@ Thank you for the information

And the fact that Tony was actually winning makes this fight sadder 😔
He was loosing

Tony is half-dead 8 feet from him while he's doing backflips. Welcome to MMA.

people acting like that was a knockdown that was clearly a slip and Chandler was beating Fergusons ass and then sent his soul from his body😂😂😂
